At Dallers, we're here to fill stomachs, not sell data. Here's how we protect your privacy while keeping it simple.
1. Data we collect
To make the app work, we need the bare minimum:
- Identity: your unique @handle.
- Optional photo: A profile picture so your friends recognize you.
- Age: Your age range (e.g. 19-25) to adapt the experience and suggestions.
2. How we use your data
- Your friends: your data (photo, handle, and "I"m hungry" status) are only visible to the people you have accepted into your tribe.
- Notifications: We use your push ID to notify you when a friend is hungry or when the roulette verdict has fallen.
- No Advertising: We never sell your data to third-party advertising networks.
3. Your contacts
If you choose to import your contacts to find your friends, we do not store your address book on our servers. We simply check if your friends are already on Dallers via a secure hashing system.
4. Retention and Deletion
Your data is stored for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the application settings.
Once deleted, it's permanent (like an eaten slice of pizza).
